Being in Alignment with Your Soul's Agenda




How do I know if I’m on my path? How do I know I’m in alignment with my soul’s lessons and agendas? ~N.G. Asheville, NC


I absolutely love this question! I was also surprised by the answer. I was expecting to be informed about the ways in which to know whether or not we're "on track". Rather, the guides suggest we need a bit of perspective shift here because it's not so much about being on a particular path at all! They never cease to amaze me. 



"When you incarnate into the earth realm, you do so in order to offer certain gifts and to learn certain things. These are the two core reasons you are here. Within that framework, here is where a common misperception occurs. People tend to think, “ I came here to learn this and this so I have to have this really rigid, particular path to do that and I don’t want to be off that path”. However, if for example you came here to work on relationships and compassion you can do that in many different ways. There’s not one path to that. So contrary to common belief, you do not necessarily follow a strict and rigid path. It’s true that you created a game plan and intended to meet certain people and have certain experiences to fulfill those intentions of learning those particular lessons. However, free will can lead you to alter the path you designed for yourself. If you do move away from those particular people and experiences intended to offer you certain learning experiences, you will gain different opportunities to learn the same lesson through different means. If things are set up and aligned and moving in one direction that is intended to get some of those lessons and your free will choice takes you in another direction, you’re not really off your path because opportunity is going to start popping up in that new direction to get the lessons your soul is after.  Its rare when a soul’s agenda is super strict and set in stone. For all intents and purposes things just aren’t set in stone that way, because part of the learning experience of this plane is to play with free will choice. So when you come into this plane intending to learn certain things, your free will choice when you get here can take you anywhere you want to go and whether you go on path a, b, c, or d, those opportunities are going to pop up for you regardless of which path you choose.
Another thing to remember is that your soul, which retains the knowledge of it’s intended agenda in this particular incarnation, is always going to be guiding you to choose the path that best serves your highest good. So by following your intuition, your "gut", you allow your soul to guide you to the brightest path before you. And when you don't listen to the gentle nudging of the soul, that is okay too, because from that as well you will learn and grow. So don't worry so much about whether or not your on the right path. Don't put so much emphasis on "getting it right". Just live your life in a way that feels in alignment with your heart's desires and allow yourself to be led on the journey that best serves you. Your soul is guiding you and when you resist you find yourself in those spaces of conflict, of feeling like you are "swimming upstream". Simply allow yourself to let go, relax, and trust that there is a bigger picture unfolding exactly as it is meant to and that your ever wise soul is guiding you through that. A Note to the Empaths During Covid-19

So here I am doing the thing I didn't want to do--adding my voice to the corona-convo which feels like adding more noise to a cacophony. I've honestly been trying to avoid the conversation altogether but that has proven impossible. I'm in information overload.
