Do We Incarnate in the Plant/Animal/Mineral Kingdoms?
I've received this question from several people and it's a good one! It's a two part question. First, do we always incarnate as humans, or do we ever experience being a part of the animal, mineral, or plant kingdoms? Second, do trees (or plants, or animals) have such a strong sense of individuality as we do? For example, does an elm tree have its own soul, or identity, that chooses each incarnation as we do?
The Guides response to the first question: Do we ever incarnate in the plant/animal/mineral kingdoms?
"Yes, you do at times do this to gain that experience--to experience consciousness through those means. All expressions of consciousness in the physical realm offers a unique experience and perspective. For this reason alone, it is appealing to experience various life forms. The soul is constantly growing and expanding and as such wishes to learn as much as possible about the many various facets of expression in the physical realm.
That said, speaking in terms of the earth realm, the human experience offers the most vast array of learning potential possible. The human experience works within a large range of emotional possibility and the opportunities are seemingly endless for growth. So that being true, you will find yourself incarnating into the human form most often in your earth experiences. But given the many different human experiences you have had (through reincarnation) you have lost sight of the fact that you are capable of expressing in other ways. There are certainly instances when one may wish to experience a tree or flower or bee life form.
There is consciousness in the mineral kingdom, in plants, in animals.
They are serving a different purpose and each one their own distinct purpose.
The plant kingdom is serving a very
different purpose with a different consciousness than say, the animal kingdom.
And even within the animal kingdom, your domesticated animals (cats and dogs
and hamsters) are serving a very different purpose than your livestock. So
there are different purposes behind these varying physical expressions of
consciousness. So that said, most of you have had some experience in the plant
or animal kingdom as an exploratory means or as a means of service. You may choose to come into physicality as a tree to provide a certain service, to connect with that consciousness, to explore the connected consciousness of the trees around you and the trees on the planet, and to connect with the purpose and path of service of a tree.
Being a tree, or animal is a way to explore consciousnesses in a different
way. That said, for the most part you choose to come into the earth plane to
take advantage of that human emotional range—than human spectrum of emotion
that is available and provides so much growth through relationships. This
includes your relationship with yourself, to one another, to money, to your
environment, to your animals, to your trees. All of these things provide such
profound levels of learning at a different capacity when you incorporate the human brain
and those complex layers of thinking and feeling that you’re not going to have
available to you in the plant, mineral or animal kingdoms."
The second question: Do trees (or plants, or animals) have such a strong sense of individuality as we do? For example, does an elm tree have its own soul, or identity, that chooses each incarnation as we do?
You
are trying to separate and sort universal energy (in the form of a tree soul,
or cat soul, or human soul) the same way you separate and sort physical
objects—that is a tree, which is distinct and separate from a cat, or bee, or
flower. You are perceiving a physical structure, separate from all other things
and trying to apply this separateness to the energetic state of the form
itself. You cannot accurately apply the same truths and principles of your
physical world to the energetic world. You are trying to understand energy, or
consciousness, through the lens of physicality, assuming that things have their
own individualistic nature.
Yes, things have their own individualistic expression of consciousness, but the
bottom line is all consciousness is part of the unified energy source—the All
That Is. You are assuming that the energy of a physical structure (a tree for
example) maintains some sort of separate and distinct individuality because you
perceive the physical structure to be having an expression and experience that
is different from your expression and experience, and different from a cat’s
expression and experience and so on. You are trying to carry over that
“distinctness” of the physical expression/experience to the consciousness of the
thing itself—assuming that when the physical structure of the tree, or cat, or
flower, is gone, the energy that permeated it maintains a separate and distinct
identity somehow. This is not necessarily so. Consciousness is continually moving and shifting into various forms and various expressions. This is the nature of energy."
